Usually I am very into Halloween between decorating the house inside and out, watching scary movies all month, eating/drinking all things pumpkin spice & apple, then dressing up. This year I crammed my typical month-long celebration into a week. I binged The Haunting of Hill House, set up minimal décor in the house (nothing on the outside), and last minute shopping for a costume for my son and the family. Even my work costume was last minute with quick makeup. {plaid Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, and the Hunter then KISS for work}
This month went fast for me, but here are three big highlights:
First, I created a greenery floral crown for a fantasy hair contest. I am so happy with how it turned out and love seeing it against the vivid colors. I envision some fantasy color in my future – maybe for my 30th! Why not right….?

Second, I hosted my first workshop at Northside Marketplace making Blooming Pumpkins with fresh floral. I had so much fun and can’t wait to host my next event, Wine and Wreaths of Dec 1st. More info to come!
Third and my favorite, were Fall photos with my husband and son, Mason. These were so much fun and I am obsessed with the moments that were captured. I may be biased, but this kid is the perfect human I’ve ever seen. And my husband is pretty nice to look at as well 🙂

Halloween/October is my second favorite holiday because I love the moody, dark, glam gothic nature of it. Of course, flowers are always the way to go!
